Upskill Local Teams in Catalyst

Like to improve your skills within Catalyst? SmartRPA offers classroom training within Catalyst – from product trainings to configuration workshops.

Monitor

Monitoring is a must have for any automation estate that wishes to improve their operations and maintain a high degree of quality control of processes. Without a general overview/understanding of the executions, time spent on maintenance will increase tenfold and errors will remain undiscovered. In this training session we will dive into how to quickly import your processes into Catalyst, enabling Catalyst to monitor, alert and visualize processes – herein analyze their inefficiencies, determine their successfulness, value to business and more.

Catalyst extracts data through various manners, exposing all of it as easily read visuals through dashboards and reports. By adding measurement of value to the processes, this enables us to measure different KPI’s per monitored process, vital in understanding the actual benefit of such processes. Alerts are set up, that trigger based on monitored data and thresholds, notifying the right people and teams through your preferred communication channels. We can even set it up so tickets can be automatically generated in your preferred support system. No more manual monitoring, just automated operational oversight.

No changes to the processes needed in the monitoring stage. Drag and drop is the way forward, leaving you or us to just configure the metrics and actions needed when events happen

From the workshop you will learn how to:

Orchestrate

One element that is truly vital for achieving scale in automation, is the ability to intelligently orchestrate process runs according to their SLAs, licenses and infrastructure availability. Not only does intelligent orchestration bring stability to operations but also significantly lowers the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of the program.

The stabilization of automations comes primarily through two parts: Process dependencies control and their SLA (Service Level Agreement). Be introduced to how to manage process SLA’s to prevent exceeding deadlines and how to use process dependencies control in the most efficient way to use the resources in the most optimized way.

The lower TCO comes about from utilizing the available resources to their max, such as licenses, desktops, credentials, applications and more.. Catalyst optimizes usage of each resource to their fullest extent through a way of load balancing their usage according to need – not according to schedules, cautious over capacity, rerunning entire processes when not needed – to mention a few.

From the workshop you will learn how to:

Optimize

When insights, monitoring, alerting and intelligent orchestration has been completed – then comes the final step: Optimizing the use of available capabilities, foresee and prevent operational problems, streamline processes and overall turbocharge the scaling of automations. This is accomplished by making minor changes to your processes, letting catalyst enable deep integrations across tasks, multiple processes, digital workers, queues, APIs and vendors / technologies. This integration enables all your automation tools to work together, thus enabling true hyper automation, with HITL (Human In The Loop) and AIITL (AI in the Loop) functionality. This training also brings enhancements on the earlier trainings by adding intelligent triggers for orchestration and alerts, more dashboard metrics, better measurement of ROI, and effectively prevent errors and poorly run processes in an outside their their work plan.

All these features and additions will make the development and maintenance of your automation estate much much simpler and expand the scope of what you have time, resources or skills to automate. Productivity of developers will increase significantly since maintenance is absolutely minimal, and creativity will rocket since end to end processes can now me made using a whole variety of tools, approaches, methodologies and vendors. That’s the catalyst for a hyper automaton ambition that can leave the place of contemplation to a place of realization.

What will you be learning on the optimize training session:

Admin

All platforms need great admins to ensure all resources and data are up to date and aligned with both business and IT requirements. As a Catalyst admin you will be tasked with the responsibility of: Creating new users and their roles, setting up new resources like desktops, users, and applications. Setup calendars and work plans to enable the developers to define when their processes should run.

To keep it short, as a Catalyst Admin you will be the pinnacle controller, enabling all your colleagues to do their job effectively while keeping stability, productivity, and security high. Often a Catalyst Admin will be working as a Dev Ops Engineer, as there is a good synergy between understanding the server side and setting up Catalyst and its features.

What will you be learning on the admin training session:

Catalyst Configuration Workshop

Probably the best way of learning is by doing the job yourself. The whole concept of the Catalyst Configuration Workshop is to give you a hands-on experience with Catalyst.

Typically, the workshop’s participants will bring their own business cases/processes to have automated by Catalyst. During the workshop these processes will be automated in Catalyst.

The workshop is often customized on top of the Customer’s own Catalyst installation and after the workshop, the automated processes will serve as a reference implementation so the best practices taught during the workshop can be passed on.

The duration of a workshop is between 3-5 days, depending on the number of Catalyst modules that the Customer has licensed and the agreed upon scope.

During the workshop (depending on scope) you will get:
